Kate Dick (she/her) is a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) who primarily works with adults, and specializes in treating eating disorders, anxiety, and depression.

Kate is committed to creating a warm, safe space for clients of all backgrounds and identities to explore, change, and build lives aligned with their values. Kate takes an integrative, evidence-based approach to therapy, drawing from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She also offers cognitive processing therapy (CPT) for PTSD.

Kate received her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Cornell University in 2017 and worked in healthcare consulting before pursuing a values-driven career change to counseling. Kate obtained her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling and Behavioral Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine in 2022. Kate gained clinical experience treating clients living with eating disorders at Monte Nido Walden (formerly Walden Behavioral Care) before joining Harborside. Kate also has experience in emergency services, including a counseling practicum at Boston Medical Center Psychiatric Emergency Department and service as a volunteer EMT.

Outside of work, Kate enjoys reading as many books as she can get her hands on, spending time with friends and family, and exploring Boston.
