Laura Watson (she/her) is a registered dietitian and nutrition therapist who has been informed by Health At Every Size and Intuitive Eating principles. She specializes in eating disorders and non-diet approaches to nutrition. She practices from a weight-neutral perspective and seeks to help clients gain a peaceful relationship with food and their bodies. She loves to work with folks of all ages and uses a FBT-informed approach when working with children/adolescents who are in recovery from an eating disorder.
She firmly believes that all bodies are good bodies and seeks to help clients understand how various aspects of society can affect our relationships with food and our bodies. She also is trained in Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) education and would love to help you learn how to manage your PCOS symptoms concerns without dieting!
Laura completed her Bachelor of Public Health degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She then went on to complete her Master of Science degree in nutrition from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, as well as her dietetic internship. She has worked with folks in recovery from eating disorders for nearly a decade and her little dog, Harlie, is known to pop into telehealth sessions with clients, on occasion.
